Commonplaces: How (Not) to Review a Debate
I give some detailed yet work-in-progress thoughts on how to arrive at impartial standards for reviewing a debate, in light of the visceral reactions to the Corey Mahler vs James White debate, which billed themselves as "debate reviews" but were functionally just parading their favourite side and continuing the argument outside of the debate context. I hope this leads to better, heck, actual debate reviews from theology and history content makers in future.
